Inaya, the Mother of the boys, has a beautiful smile!  It was such a great feeling to meet a different woman.  

She is still working very hard but the haunted expression of her face was completely gone.  She expressed her gratitude towards the sponsors of the boys and described how much easier their life had become since she did not have to worry about the upbringing and schooling of the boys anymore.

Sakeer is a great help to his Mother.  With his bike he makes many errands for her and he also takes his little brother to tutoring classes.  Sakeer was beaming with pride and asked us to the balcony where his bike stood in an impeccable state. This smallish boy drags his treasure up and down to the third floor every day!

We brought a 20 kg. bag of lentils with us when we visited Inaya and the boys.  She makes snacks out of lentil flour and she can sell them also at the re-opened Singer shop.  We asked her whether she was in need of something else and she told us about her limitation when she has a big order for rice and curry as she did not own big pans.  We bought her a stack of seven pans with fitting lids.  The biggest was the size of a baby tub.  Only a few days later we got proof of Inaya’s cooking skills.  The food she sent to Roy`s Uncle’s house was rice and curry at its finest!  We hope that Inaya not only cooks but also eats a bit more in the future.
