Kindergarten
When we arrived at the Kindergarten, the children were seated and being tutored in the garden under a solar panel.
The kindergarten teacher had prolonged the annual exhibition because of our visit and we were taken aback with the extent of the exhibition and the ideas and materials used.

Michel had been shopping and we almost had the entire assortment of play dough with us. The children were excited to say the least. We don’t know how play dough will behave in the Sri Lankan climate but the kindergarten teacher reassured us that she knows how to make play dough herself.
Of course, we also admired the two new windows and the new door. It would not be Sri Lanka if there would not have been a new problem waiting.
Since the construction of the second bathroom for the kindergarten, the pit drain is getting to its limits and even above that, during the rainy season. Because of the additional construction, there is no way to pump the pit empty. They are in desperate need of drainage to a second pit, where a pump could get into action. We will do our best…………….
