The A-Level exams for Sameela had already started. It equals our graduation and would enable her to go to university. I met her mother who told me that she had sent the records from Sameela’s school to Switzerland.
They were there when I returned home and the girl had scored exceptionally well. After the end of the school term in June, she was to return to Hambantota and would attend computer classes for three months. We would reduce the payments by the cost of boarding, stopping them in September. Thanks to her excellent grades she would be able to get a scholarship for her further studies. We wanted to try to keep in contact with her anyway.
