Kindergarten
The children were eagerly awaiting us and as always they could count on Michel’s shopping skills. The children had a lot of fun making huge soap bubbles and inspecting all the goodies we had with us.
The kindergarten teacher showed us her baby boy. He had been born a week after our last visit. With the support of her helpers, teaching had not been interrupted. Everything was in impeccable shape as always. They also had the estimate for enlarging the toilet drainage. Everything was accurately detailed and Michel handed over Rs. 62000 ($440), so that they could start the work.
We did not meet Resla this time at the kindergarten. She comes once in a while to help out but most of the time she just lets the days pass. It is a pity how she did not make use of the chances given to her.
A lot of other things were still the same in Hambantota. Rony and Carema still live in their house and we were invited to stay with them.
