Remembering the hours of shopping with Ruhi in the spring, we handed an envelope with money discreetly to the girl and wished her a lot of fun shopping on her own.

As always Ruhi’s Grandfather did not move from the side of the apple of his eye while her Grandmother stayed in the background. The Grandmother was not doing too well and we did not dare to ask about her age and condition. She has suffered from hip pains for years and has more and more trouble to walk.

Ruhi showed us her work and results from school but she still does not have concrete plans for her future. Well, at the age of 12 there is still some time.

The Grandfather was so nice to dig a cactus out for us and we were able to bring it in one piece back to Switzerland. One of our cacti from Hambantota had fallen victim to our new cat and we needed a replacement.
